LYONS, EVELYN MARGARET (WALLS) The death of Evelyn Margaret (Walls) Lyons, wife of The Rev. Willard Lyons, of Ludlow, NB, occurred on January 5, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 6, 1929 in Blackville, NB, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith Walls. Evelyn was an active supportive partner in various pastoral charges with her husband. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Morrison (Raymond) of Irish Cove, Cape Breton, NS; three sons, Keith Lyons (Beverley) of Hampton, NB, Tully Lyons of Ludlow and Allan Lyons (Darlene) of Fredericton, NB; four grandsons, Devin, Mark, Christopher and Jordan Lyons; two brothers, Stewart Walls of Blissfield, NB and Theodore Walls (Ellen) of Blackville, NB; three sisters-in-law, Annamae Walls of Blackville, Viola Walls of Blackville, Dorothy Walls of Debec, NB; and an extensive family of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Dorothy Morehouse, Elsie Morehouse and Louise Chatterton; four brothers, Royce, Ben, Isaac and George. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 2 pm from the Boiestown United Church with Rev. Beverly Daley officiating. Honourary Pallbearers are Evelyn's four grandsons as well as Ella Mae Bransfield, Glenda Munn, Leona Lyons, Linda Price and Yvonne Price. Interment will take place at the Blackville United Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
