HIMMELMAN, FRANCES LILLIAN 90, of Lunenburg passed away, Monday, January 23, 2006 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Lunenburg she was the daughter of the late Morris and Maggie (Berringer) Smith. She is survived by a brother, Gilbert (Marion) Smith, Abbottsford, BC.; her son, David (Barbara), Bayport; and daughter, Anne (Eric) Brown, Tracy, NB. She was predeceased by her husband Wilson and a brother Robert (Agnes) Smith. Frances was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She and her husband Wilson and family lived in Fredericton, N.B. from (1951-1990) for 39 years before returning to their home town of Lunenburg. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, a past I.O.D.E member and known for her love of knitting and TV sports programs. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy #3, Lunenburg and from where a memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am, Rev. Edwin Bastian officiating. interment will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
