Flegel, Michael George March 26, 1924 - May 23, 2008 Mike passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital on Friday, May 23, 2008. He was born in the Bayard-Claybank District, SK. In 1945 he married Elsie Nagel and enjoyed 54 years of marriage until her death in May of 2000. They spent the early years on the farm and in 1960, he not only moved his family, but also the house he had himself built into Regina. Mike was employed by E.K. Wagner Bus Lines and will be remembered as a friend and caretaker to the tenants of Rainbow Towers during the '80's and '90's. He was an avid baseball and hockey fan and proudly watched the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his sons; Murray (Arlene), Michael (Barbara) and Gord (Robyn); daughters Linda Flegel and Shelly Williams; as well as grandchildren Brad, Jarrett, Michael, Clarke, Annika, Oriano, Vienna, Thomas, Heather, Russel and Catie; great-grandchildren Jessica and Nicholas; his sister Ann Williams; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Isador and Rosalie; brothers Martin, Anton, Isadore, Joseph, Frank and John; sisters Magdalina Bekar, Rose Tromba and Elizabeth Snidar. We will miss you Dad, may you rest in peace. We will always hear the tunes from your harmonica.
