FOWLIE, MARY ALICE The death of Mary Alice Fowlie of Erbs Cove, NB, wife of the late Harry C. Fowlie, occurred on Monday, February 6th, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Mabelle (Tapley) Hoyt. She was an adherent of St. Andrew & St. David United Church. Surviving are her daughters Mary-Lou Hamill of Hanwell, NB, June Holly Fowlie of Saint John, NB, grandchildren Bill (Thamar), Rick (Cathy), Tony (Wendy), and Dan, great-grandchildren Billy, Leah, Katie, Melanie, Chris, and Galvin and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother Holly Hoyt and one sister Daisy Macdonald and her son-in-law Bill Hamill. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 2006, at 11 am, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Erb's Cove Baptist Cemetery in the spring.
