GALLANT, ANDREW ANTHONY The death of Andrew Anthony (Andy) Gallant, loving husband of Laverna (Conway) Gallant, of Bains Corner occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday February 7, 2006 at his residence. Born 1953 in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Cyrus and Jane (Bourgeois) Gallant. Andy was a Lobster Fisherman; he was the Past President of Fundy North Fisherman Association. He was an instrument of unity for the community, he was well known and respected and loved by all. Besides his loving wife Laverna, he is survived by his children Joshua and Monique both at home; four brothers Alfred (Thelma) of Minto, Jacques (Florence) of Moncton, Edmond (Jeanette) of Saint John and Peter of Bathurst; two sisters Jeannette Cunningham (Michael) of Fredericton and Anne Marie Holt of Calgary; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant brother and an infant sister. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday February 10, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. William's Catholic Church on Saturday February 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. William's Cemetery.
