Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his family on June 18, 2008, age 75. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Lydia May King; two sisters: Olive Regan and Gwen Hodgson; infant grandson Mathew Smallwood. Leaving to mourn his wife and best friend of 47 years Ruby; son James Neil (Sharon and Scott); daughter Marilyn (Charlie Smallwood); one granddaughter (Hope); step-granddaughter (Casandra); sisters Florence Tilley and Mabel Perkins, as well as a large number of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a very large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Bauline United Church on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Bauline United Cemetery, Bauline.
