ESTEY, GRETCHEN GRACE Gretchen G. Estey of Zealand, NB passed away February 15, 2006 at her home. Born at Zealand in 1934, she was a daughter of the late Carney and Myrtle (Brewer) Brewer. Gretchen enjoyed her walk with God. She was a faithful servant who took pleasure and blessing in helping, giving and taking care of others. Gretchen was a special 'mom' to many, a dedicated mother, wife and nan. She always put others first and always aimed to do the best in all that she did. Gretchen is survived by her husband, Russell R. Estey; a daughter, Twila Estey and a grandson, Drake Estey, Zealand; Drake's father, Chuck Henderson, Lincoln, six brothers, Winston Brewer, Merle Brewer (Beryl), Otis Brewer (Betty), Laurison Brewer, Elton Brewer (Darlene) and Stenton Brewer (Norma), all of Zealand; two aunts, Muriel Estey, Zealand and Margaret Brewer, Scotch Settlement; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Vivian Gilbert. Resting at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dale Brewer and Rev. Terry Messer officiating. Interment will be later at Stone Ridge Community Cemetery.
