DAVIS, ELVA MAE Elva M. Davis of Moncton, NB passed away February 17, 2006 as a result of a car accident near Moncton. Born in 1935 at Canterbury, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Alta (Smith) Graham. Elva was a member of the Mountainview United Church of Canada and belonged to the U.C.W. Before her retirement, Elva was employed with CIBC bank in Moncton. Elva is survived by her husband, Walter Davis; two daughters, Krista Davis, Moncton and Charlene Austin, Fredericton; a son, Michael Davis, Alberta; six grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Emily, Dorian, Katrina and Tristan; a sister, Ruby Derrick, Woodstock and a brother, Clifford Graham (Annie), Maugerville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Edith Wright. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB with visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 2 p.m. at St. Mark's United Church, Canterbury, NB with Rev. Dr. Beverly C. S. Brazier officiating. Interment will be later at Canterbury Cemetery.
