Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, Violet Richards in her 90th year. Predeceased by her parents Abraham and Minnie; sisters Elizabeth (Dolly) and Mary; brother William and nephews Leonard and Stanley. Leaving to mourn are special nephew Frank (Collette); special grand-niece Kimberly Tait; brothers Cyril (Shirley), Tom and Fred; nephews Don, Kenneth, Herbert, Victor, David, Harry, Simon, Robert and Cecil Jr.; nieces Lena, Francine, Lisa and Mondella; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Chapel on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 2:00.
