ORIE EVELYN MCCULLOUGH
MCCULLOUGH, ORIE EVELYN Orie E. McCullough of Harvey passed away March 9, 2006 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born at Tweedside in 1922, she was a daughter of the later Edward and Hazel (Simmons) Bell of Tweedside. Orie loved her family and the outdoors. She was a past member of the L.O.B.A. Orie is survived by two sons, Neil McCullough, Brockway and Paul McCullough (Joanne), Harvey; two daughters, Susan Nason (Jeff), Bear Island and Janet McIntosh, Harvey; a daughter-in-law, Waneta McCullough, Harvey; a son-in-law, Durrell McIntosh, Harvey; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Bell (Betty), Harvey; a sister-in-law Marjorie Bell, Harvey; special friends, Annie Morrow and Olive Banks; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Orie was predeceased by her husband, Charles McCullough in 1976, two brothers, John Bell and infant Cecil Bell and two sisters, Iona Cleghorn and Bernice Haines. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey on Sunday, March 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating, assisted by Rev. George Clark. Interment will be later at Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Wendell McCullough, Randy McCullough, Ronnie Messer, Larry Moffitt, Wayne McFadgen and Brent Bell.
