ATWIN, ROSE ANN At her residence on Friday March 18, 2006, Rose Ann Atwin of Kingsclear First Nation passed away at the age of 74. Born in Oromocto, NB, she was a daughter of the late Mitchell and Margaret (Paul) Polchies and wife of the late Everett Atwin. Rose was a homemaker, an avid bingo player and well known for her story telling. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by one son Victor Neil Atwin (Debbie); four grandchildren Alana, Bert, Lucy, and Kasey; two great-grandchildren Dylan and Aidan; special friend Fred Sabattis; numerous nieces and nephews as well as god mother to many. Predeceased by a daughter Darlene; brothers Patrick Polchies, Alfred Neil Polchies, Leonard Polchies and Richard Polchies; a sister Mary Alice Sabattis. Resting at 110 Tomahawk Drive, Kingsclear First Nation on Monday and Tuesday afternoon and evening. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Oromocto NB with Father Ken Weir officiating. Interment will be held in St. Ann's Church Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Lung Association would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the care & direction of Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. Pallbearers for the service will be Frank David Paul, Richard (Jimmy) Sabattis, Frank Sabattis, Malcolm Sabattis, Paul Tomer and Adam Tomer.
