WHITE, JAMES ALEXANDER At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 21, 2006, James Alexander White of Fredericton passed away at the age of 67. Born in Newcastle, NB, on February 14, 1939, he was the son of the late John Reginald and Mamie (Ullock) White. He was employed as a truck driver and enjoyed Texas Hold'em, Bingo and Cribbage. He is survived by his children, Jamie (Denise) of Newfoundland, David (Shauna) of Windsor, NS and Brenda Lee (Joey) Simard of Fredericton; 6 grandchildren, Erica, David Jr., Samantha, Shannon, Michael and Gabrielle. Also survived by his long-time companion and friend, Doris Burns; step-children Connie Gill (Ross) and Debbie of Fredericton and Kelly LeBlanc (Steve) of Moncton; 6 step grandchildren, Andy, Clayton, Trevor, Tasha, Madison and Andres; sisters Winnie Stewart, Audrey White and Cheryl Johnson all of Miramichi; brothers John (Tina) White and Gary (Jackie) White both of Miramichi; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Theresa (Porier) White; brothers Frank and Sonny of BC and a sister Shirley of BC. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
