RYAN, CHARLES FREDERICK The death of Fred Ryan of Nasonworth, NB, occurred on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006. Born in Halifax, NS, Fred was the husband of Esther (Morgan) Ryan, and the son of the late Charles and Mona (Shublie) Ryan. Fred was a member of the New Maryland United Baptist Church. Fred is survived by his wife Esther; his four sons, Tim of Nasonworth, NB, Paul of Sheffield, NB, Darcy (Linda) of Hanwell, NB, and Chuck (Denise) of Halifax, NS; one daughter, Dianne (James) Abrams of Charters Settlement, NB; an honorary brother, James (Astrid) Williams of Sambro, NS; three sisters, Pauline (Eddie) Jollimore of Terance Bay, NS, Jean Madore of Ottawa, ON, and Kay (Allen) Lynch of Halifax, NS; five grandchildren, Gabe (Yoko) Eisnor of Japan, Sara Donovan of Beaverdam, NB, Cody Weston, Nicholas and Gavin Ryan of Hanwell, NB; and many nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his parents and his brother-in-law Marcell Madore. The family will receive visitors at the New Maryland United Baptist Church in Nasonworth on Friday, March 24th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, March 25th, at 2 pm with Pastor David Gray and Rev. Gerald Matthews officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery following the service. A reception will be held in the church following the interment. In lieu of the flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church building fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
