MARY GERTRUDE ST. PIERRE

ST. PIERRE, MARY GERTRUDE It is with great sadness that the family of Mary St. Pierre announces her passing on Monday, March 27, 2006, at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born in Canterbury, N. B. on July 8, 1913 she was the daughter of John Depow and Gertrude Depow (Dickenson). Mary graduated from Canterbury High School and attended Mount Allison University. She was a business woman and worked in the lumber industry with her family and after moving to Fredericton she worked as the Senior Financial Officer with Levine's at both their downtown Department Store and at their Metal Recycling Plant. Mary was a member of St. Anne's Anglican Church. Grammie loved the business world but above all else she cherished her family and her pets. Mary is survived by her two children, John St. Pierre (wife Judy) and Rosemarie Chippin (husband Arnold). She is also survived by her dear brother Harry Depow (Mary) and her sister-in-law Helen Depow and sister-in-law Rita Couturier. Mary has five grandchildren, Jocelyn O'Conner (Michael), Benjamin St. Pierre, Daniel Chippin, Mathew Chippin, and Michelle Chippin. Mary also has a little Great Granddaughter Abigail O'Conner and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Gerard St. Pierre and her brothers, Dr. Wilfred Depow, Ned Depow and Bill Depow. Visitation will take place at McAdams Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 and evening from 7 to 9. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30 from the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Ven. John Sharpe officiating.
