Anne Yelle of Saint John, NB, passed away at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home on March 30, 2006, at the age of 92. Born in Anagance, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Ellen (Smith) O'Keefe. She was a long time choir member and Cub Master of Assumption Parish, as well as a member of the Carleton Branch No.2 RCL Ladies Auxillary. She will be sadly missed by sons: Patrick "Buddy"(Regina) Daigle of Ignace ON and David (Roberta)Yelle of Saint John; daughters: Bonny Daigle of Barrie, ON, JoAnne (Douglas) Wilson of Saint John and Jane (Richard) MacDonald of Saint John West; brother, Raymond (Amelia) O'Keefe of Caledonia, ON; sister, Agnes Greene, BC; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husbands Joseph Daigle and Domino Yelle; daughter, Donna Phillips; sisters: Helen O'Keefe and Doris Miller and brother, James O'Keefe.
Resting at Castle Funeral Homes "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, interment following in Holy Cross Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Anne may be made to a charity of choice.”
