GAINES, MARGARET MYRTLE READ Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at York Manor Nursing Home in Fredericton, NB on April 8, 2006 after a period of failing health. She was born in Grand Falls, NB, and the daughter of the late Frederick and Clementine Warnock. Margaret is survived by son Aubrey Gaines (Margaret) of Fredericton; Joan Jenkins (John) of Plaster Rock; Beth Gaines of Fredericton; and Marina Brewer (Owen) of Fredericton. Sisters Gertrude White of Grand Falls and Mildred Diwell of Port Colborne, Ont.; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Her husband John Frederick Gaines; brother Borden Warnock, and sisters Helen Boyles, Evelyn Thomas, and Bertha Warnock predeceased Margaret. A memorial service will be held at Brunswick St. Baptist Church in Fredericton, NB at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 with Pastor Brian Wortman of Beechwood officiating.
