MILBURY, MERLE FREDERICK Merle F. Milbury passed away peacefully at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 9th, 2006 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was a long time resident of the Veteran's Health Unit in Fredericton as well as life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 Fredericton. He will be sadly missed by his 5 children David (Opal) Fredericton, Cynthia Harding of Fredericton, Merlene (Norm) Egle, of Arizona USA, Randy (Angie) of New Maryland, Timmy (Doreen) of Ottawa, 15 grandchildren &12 great-grandchildren, two sisters Viola McKay of Ontario and Hilda(Peggy) Smith of Montreal. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Juanita (Canam) Milbury, his wife Jean(Daley) Milbury and son-in-law, Emerson McEachern. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Wednesday from 7-9 PM were the funeral service will held from Bishop's Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, April 13th at 2 PM with the Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Society, or to a charity of the donor's choice. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 will hold a tribute service at the funeral home on Wednesday night at 7 PM. The pallbearers for the service will be the grandsons. They are, Steven Milbury, Scott Milbury, Brent Sharpe, Matthew Harding, Chris McEachern and Jordan Milbury. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
