LEWIS HAROLD WILLIAMS

WILLIAMS, LEWIS HAROLD Lewis H. Williams of Fredericton and formerly of Harvey Station passed away April 11, 2006 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born at Acton, NB in 1924, he was a son of the late Allen and Catherine (Varner) Williams. Lewis was veteran of the Second World War, serving for two years. He was member of Cherry Mountain Masonic Lodge # 50 in Harvey Station. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Graham) Williams; two sons, Wayne Williams (Patricia), Prince William and Gary Williams (Susan), Harvey; two daughters, Karen Bartlett (Hugh), St. Andrews and Kayla Vance (Robert Sloan), Magaguadavic; grandchildren, Timothy Williams (Janet), Craig Williams (Holly), Lesley Bennett (Kevin Drake), Jared Williams (Erika), Tiffany Bartlett and Graham Bartlett; Kastin Vance, Marcus Vance, Jesse Vance and Lacey Vance; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Taylor Bennett; one brother, Travis Williams (Marie), Harvey Station; two sisters-in-law, Anna Cronkhite (Lloyd), Fredericton and Elinor Graham, Hampton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter Kathy Ann, a brother John and sister Ruth Rosborough. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Clement's Anglican Church, Dumfries on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2 p.m. Rev. Elaine Hamilton officiating, assisted by Rev. George Clark. Interment will be in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be Merle and Kay Robinson, Charles and Hazel Cole, Herb and Anne Bishop, Dayton and Emma Davis and Evelyn Swan. Active pallbearers will be Dale Williams, Francis Bennett, Keith Cronkhite and grandsons, Jared Williams, Graham Bartlett and Kastin Vance.
