ELVIRA LOIS DAVIES

DAVIES, ELVIRA LOIS The passing of E. Lois Davies of Oromocto, NB, occurred on Friday, April 14th, 2006 peacefully at Oromocto Public Hospital. Lois was an elder of the St. James Presbyterian Church and was strong in her faith. She loved to be involved in her church and community. She was a CGIT leader, and also taught in the ALFA course. She was a talented writer and baker who enjoyed crafting to create those special memories for her family and friends. She always found the time for family especially her grandchildren whom she was devoted to. Lois loved to travel and spent many of her earlier years living abroad. She later enjoyed spending time camping with her family. Lois was a much-loved mother, grandmother and friend to all her. She will be sadly missed. Survived by two sons, Terrence James Davies (Valerie) of Saint John, NB, and Thomas Frank Davies (Angela) of Dubai, UAE; two daughters, Robin Lea Ward (Pat) of Lincoln, NB, and Dawn Marie Davies of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Adam, Meghan and Ryan Ward, Matthew, Mark, Kerris and Brynne Davies; and her mother Doris Wilson. Lois's extended family, Bob and Jean Morrison & family, Heidi and Earl Graves & family, Mamta Mian & family and Louis Menard. She was predeceased by her husband Ted and father Floyd Hottle. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, April 17th, 2006 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, April 18th, 2006 at 7:00 pm at the St. James Presbyterian Church on Hanwell Rd.
