DINES, KATHERINE BLANCHE At her home in Fredericton, Katherine Blanche Dines passed away on April 17, 2006. Born in Eastport, Maine on May 3, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Sumner and Harriett (Wilbur) Henderson and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Katherine was a member of Grace Memorial United Baptist Church. She is survived by 8 daughters Bernice Durelle of Fredericton, Gladys Mahar and her husband John A. of Fredericton, Vera Richardson of Fredericton, Ethel Finnegan and her husband Ted of Ottawa, Margaret Johnston and her husband Carl of Fredericton, Joyce Thompson and her husband Calvin of Fredericton, Mary Hunnewell and her husband Charles of Pelham, GA, Gloria Boyce and her husband Don of Fredericton; 3 sons Prescott Dines and his wife Anne of St. John's, NF, Allen Dines of Austin, TX, Charles Dines and his wife Arvilla of Fredericton; a daughter-in-law Margaret Dines; 39 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her husband William Dines; a son Sherman Dines; 2 daughter-in-laws; 2 son-in-laws; 3 great grandchildren; several sisters and brothers. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Greg Boyce officiating, assisted by Rev. Doug Hapeman. Interment to follow at Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
