INA ALBERTA NASON
NASON, INA ALBERTA The passing of Ina Alberta Nason, wife of the late Stephen B. Nason, of Fredericton, NB, occurred peacefully at her home on April 17, 2006 at the age of 84. Born on September 28, 1921 in Waterville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Anges and Maggie (Tapley) MacFarlane. Ina really enjoyed life to the fullest, especially with her late husband, family and friends. She is survived by three sons, Dale Nason of Nasonworth, Allan Nason (Marcene) of McLeod Hill, Len Nason (Rosemary) of Lincoln; two daughters, Barbara Farrer (Howard) of Royal Road, Debbie Carpenter (Bob) of Fredericton; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earl, John and Milton MacFarlane; three sisters, Geraldine Hickey, Lena Bragdon, Vena Moorcroft and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Ina was predeceased by one brother, Barry; and three sisters, Rowena Tapley, Bertha Bates and Marclean Beallie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 2 pm with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Alvin Nason, Blair Nason, Blaine Nason, Robert Nason, Jeremy Noble, Stephen Noble, Michael Farrer and Derrick Nason. Interment will take place at Sunny Bank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetic Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
