Helen Stefiuk went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 at the age of 79. Mom passed away peacefully with all of her family by her side. She will be fondly remembered by her husband John Stefiuk, of 61 years; her children, Cheryl (Lionel) Penner, Abbotsford, B.C., Wendy (Keith) Polley, Moose Jaw, Sask., Darcy (Toos) Stefiuk, Gravelbourg, Sask., and Marnie (Dean) Hiscock, Petawawa, Ont.; grandchildren, Adrienne (Mark) Shipton, Abbotsford, B.C., Andrew (Laurel) Penner, Abbotsford, B.C., Shelan (Ben) Dueck, Moose Jaw, Sask., Chris Polley, Calgary, Alta., Alicia Stefiuk, Saskatoon, Sask., Cole Hiscock, Petawawa, Ont., Ashley Hiscock, Petawawa, Ont.; and 7 great-grandchildren; her sister Evelyn (Matt) Lowery, Port Alberni, B.C.; brothers Harley (Sheila) Horrocks and Doug (Ethel) Horrocks, all of Campbell River, B.C.; and many wonderful friends.
