BUBAR, ROY ERNEST The death of Roy Ernest Bubar of Fredericton, formerly of Nashwaak Bridge, occurred on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on September 9, 1921 in Nashwaak Bridge, NB, he was a son of the late Ernest Leo and Annie Jane (Murray) Bubar. Mr. Bubar retired from Canadian National Railroad after 30 years of service and was a member of the Covered Bridge Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Bessie (Miller) Bubar; two daughters, Dianna Wade (David) of Hampton, NB and Deborah Hoyt (friend, John) of Alberton, PEI; one son, Alton Bubar (Lucie) of Nashwaak Bridge; five grandchildren; four great-grand children; one brother, Austin Bubar (Jean) of Nashwaak Bridge; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Bubar was predeceased by two sisters, Louise and Eileen; and two brothers, Eugene and Luther. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 11 am from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating. Interment will be held in the Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are Reginald Sansom, Benjamin Wade, Murray Warman, Charles Smith, David Bubar and David MacFarlane. For those who wish, remembrances to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation, to the Arthritis Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
