BEATON, ELLEN JOHNSON The death of Ellen Johnson Beaton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on the 28th day of April 2006 in her 96th year. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Hugh Roy Gregory and Eleanor (MacKinnon) Gregory and predeceased by her husband, P.O. Beaton and one sister, Norma G. Brown. She is survived by three children, John Beaton of Island View, NB, Richard Beaton of St. John's, NL and Mary Beaton of Cambridge, ON; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral on Monday, May 1st, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fern Hill Cemetery, Saint John, NB at a later date. Flowers and memorials gratefully declined.
