FARRELL, GEORGE FRANKLIN The death of George Franklin Farrell of Salmon River occurred Sunday, May 14th, 2006 at the Minto Hospital. Born in Newcastle Bridge, NB, he was the son of the late John W. and Dorothy M. (Nason) Farrell. In addition to his loving wife, Alice (Naugler) Farrell, George is survived by his daughter, Faith Hunziker (Terry) of Minto; his son Darren Farrell (Shauna) of Darlings Island; his 3 grandsons, Brett, Kaylor and Dylan and his 2 granddaughters, Jordan and Lindsey; a daughter-in-law, Linda Cole as well as several nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by sister, Vera Horsman and brothers, Lew, Monte, Russell, Edward, Fred and Clyde. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Monday evening from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 16th, 2006 from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau with Pastor Reg Ward officiating. Private interment will be held later in the United Baptist Cemetery, Minto, NB. If so desired, the family would suggest memorial donations made to the charity of ones choice.
