Mrs. Annie Emma May Green of Moose Jaw, passed away quietly on July 20, 2008 at the age of 92 years. She is predeceased by her brother Earl Douglas and her parents Alfred and Jennie Douglas, her first husband Ian Paisley and her second husband, Charles Green and step-daughter, Mary Jane Green. She is survived by her brothers-in-law, Basil Green - Moose Jaw, Fred Green - Ottawa and Howard (Eileen) Green - Melfort, sister-in-law Jean Ballagh - Beaverton, ON, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Alice and Ted Fairbairn - Ottawa who she kept in close touch with. Also surviving her are her step-children Marj and Bruno Weiss - Regina, David and Janice Green - Moose Jaw, Philip Green - Kamloops, Karen Green and David Hetherington - Moose Jaw and their families. May taught school in southern Saskatchewan and Moose Jaw for 9 years, then she and Ian started Paisley's Drug Store and Flower Shop and were in business for 32 years. They retired and were able to take some wonderful trips. Ian passed away in 1985 and in 1988 she married Charlie and they enjoyed 9 years together. She belonged to the Princess Pat Club, Canadian Club and was a member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine as well as St. Andrew's United Church. After Dad's passing, she was cared for in her home by the devoted caregivers at We Care and Prairie Rose Home Care and for the last 3 years was in Edgar Hall, Providence Place where she also had excellent care. Our gratitude and thanks to all who looked after her over the years, especially Judy Gardiner and Ched Richardson. We have been blessed to have known this elegant lady. A Celebration of May's life will take place Saturday July 26, 2008 at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel at 1:30pm. Della Ferguson will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
