DUPLASSIE, APRIL DAWN (SACOBIE) The passing of April Dawn (Sacobie) Duplassie occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 22, 2006. She was 23. Born April 10, 1983 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of Elizabeth C. (Poulette) Sacobie and the late Frederick R. Sacobie. April was a student at UNBI Training Institute and was enrolled in the Child Care Program. She was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Kingsclear, NB. She is survived by her husband Dana of Riverview, NB; her son Joey Munn of Island View, NB; her loving mother Elizabeth Sacobie of Kingsclear; sisters Cathy Rickard and Alberta Sacobie both of Fredericton; brothers Aaron Sacobie of Kingsclear and Vance Sacobie of Fredericton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her special friend, Tom Degand of Kansas, USA, also survives her. Predeceased by her father Frederick Sacobie and her paternal and maternal grandparents. April will rest at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Sunday evening, June 25 from 7-9 PM and again on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Kingsclear First Nation, on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Father Ken Weir officiating.
