STEWART, CLIFFORD (CLIFF) F. The passing of Clifford (Cliff) Franklin Stewart of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the age of 82. Born September 28, 1923 at Taymouth, NB, he was a son of the late Arthur Gordon and Cecile Rose (Stewart) Stewart. Cliff was a retired Serviceman with NB Tel. A veteran of WWII, he began his military service in Fredericton with the 104th Anti Tank Battery and served in Italy with the Perth Light Infantry. Cliff is survived by his loving and devoted wife Norma (McConaghy); he will be sadly missed by his son Dale and daughter-in-law Sherry of Elmsdale, NS; his passing also leaves three loving step-daughters, M. Lynn Evans of Toronto, M. Lorraine (Lore) Ward and husband Livingstone of Cranbrook, BC and Judith A. Evans of Toronto; he dearly loved by his five grandchildren, Adam Ward (Tanya), Aimie Ward, Cecile Lloy (Roger), Emily McCracken (Ryan) and Philip Stewart (Dana) and five great grandchildren, Emma , Macy, Fiona, Lily and Holly. His devoted brothers, Arthur (Sonny) W. Stewart (Clara) of Marysville and Stephen Stewart (Judy) of Porters Lake, NS will forever cherish his memory. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents; his first wife Viola (Nicholson) Stewart; two brothers, Edward and Lawrence Stewart and a sister Evelyn Bois. It was a request of Cliff that no visitation or funeral service be held. The family will hold a private graveside committal service.
