COREY, NINA ANGELINA Nina A. Corey of Saint John passed away July 7, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Temperance Vale in 1915, she was the last surviving sibling of twelve children of the late W. Allen and Maud Laura (MacFarlane) Corey. Nina was employed at the Bank of Canada in Saint John, retiring because of ill health from the position of supervisor and staff training officer. She is survived by a dear friend of many years, Inez J. Bell, Saint John; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Corey, Nellie Corey and Betty Cummings (Edison), all of Nackawic and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Nina was predeceased by two sisters, Alma Stairs and Ethel Stairs and nine brothers, Harry, Norman, Ellis, Kenneth, Fraser, Gordon , Clifford, Ernest and Chester Corey. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Temperance Vale Baptist Church, 673 Route 595, Temperance Vale with Rev. Ronald Curtis and Rev. David Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Temperance Vale Cemetery.
