ATYEO, ROSE CHRISTINA The passing of Rose Christina (Grant) Atyeo, ex-wife of the late Albert Atyeo Sr., occurred on Friday, July 14, 2006 in Fredericton. Born in Minto, NB, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Crawford) Grant. Rose loved to cook and play the guitar. Her passion in life was to read her Bible. Rose was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Rose is survived by four daughters, Peggy Atyeo-Veysey (Garland), Helen Edgar-Lagoie (Bob) and Bernice Stewart Harwood all of Fredericton, NB and Kathy Atyeo of Ontario; three sons, Albert Atyeo Jr., Robin Atyeo (Gloria) and Stephen Atyeo (Anne) of Fredericton, NB; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one step-son, Frank Atyeo of Fredericton, NB; two brothers, George and Clayton Grant both of London, ON; three sisters, Shirley Grant of London, ON, Queenie Fulton (Lamont) and Jean Grant both of Minto, NB; first husband Russel Stewart of St. John, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her ex-husband, Rose was predeceased by five brothers, Pat, Havelock, Elbridge, William and Persie; and three sisters, Eva, Helen and Greta. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon Macleod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Wayne Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in the Wall Bridge Cemetery, Minto, NB. Reception to follow burial at the home of Stephen and Anne Atyeo's at 669 Riverside Drive, Fredericton, NB (across from Green Village).
