SYPHER, TEENIE SUSAN MAE The death of Teenie (Susan) Mae Sypher of Fredericton occurred at the York Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, July 20th , 2006. She was born in Douglas, NB on September 13th, 1915, daughter of the late Roy and Lena (Brewer) Currie. She was a member of St. Paul's UCW, Capital Y's Menettes and Red Cross Knitting Club (which began during WW11). She enjoyed knitting, sewing, painting and creating many beautiful quilts. Teenier is survived by daughter, Susan (Ed) O'Donnell, grandchildren Sally (Kyle) Thomas and Patrick (Marnie) O'Donnnell; and great-grandsons Holden and Colin O'Donnell. also sisters Mildred (Boyd) Ring,Winifred (Charles) Kelly, brother Leo (Hazel) Currie and sisters-in-law Mamie and Bessie Currie. She was predeceased by her husband E. Stuart Sypher, infant son Donald Malcolm, sister Lizzie (Jack) Wilcox, and brothers Elwood, Oscar and D'Arcy Currie. The family will receive visitors at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday July 23rd, 2006 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 24th, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Rev. H.G. MacKenzie will officiate. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
