GRANVILLE, RICHARD ALAN Richard Alan Granville (December 27, 1919 - August 3, 2006) at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. August 3, 2006 of Queensway, St. Stephen, N.B. Son of the late Stanley D. and Edith (Seeley) Granville. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Elaine (Scovil) Granville; son, Michael (Ann) Granville of Riverview, N.B.; daughter, Judy (Norman) Thornton of Calais, ME; grandson, Christopher Thornton of Bangor, ME; sister, Rosalie (Shreve) Angus of Sackville N.B; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held from the S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd. 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Monday, August 7, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Lyman Harding officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening August 6, 2006 from 7 to 9 P.M. and Monday August 7, 2006 from 1 to 2 PM. Interment in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Canadian Red Cross or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
