DOAK, JOAN LOUISE With great sadness we wish to announce the passing of Joan Louise Doak, of Fredericton, NB on August 19, 2006. She was born on August 29, 1960 in Calgary, AB. Joan was a very socially conscience and caring person who had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Joan is survived by her three children, Adam, Ryan and Nicole; granddaughter, Madeleine; one sister, Brenda; two brothers, Brent and Chris; two nieces, Rebecca and Lacey and two nephews, Jesse and Darren. She was predeceased by one son, Lukus. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, on Saturday, August 26, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 2 pm with Pastor Dwight Munn officiating. Interment will take place at McGivney Cemetery, McGivney, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Fredericton Emergency Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
