RUBY HELEN COUGHLAN
COUGHLAN, RUBY HELEN Ruby Helen Coughlan, of Fredericton, passed away at the age of 73 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 17th, 2006. Born in Minto, NB, she was the only daughter of the late Jim Welton and Norah (Drost). Ruby was retired from several years of working in the retail sales business and in her retirement spent a great deal of time caring for the elderly. Surviving are one daughter, Elaine Kaley (Alden) of Fredericton; one son, Keith Coughlan (Nikki) of Fredericton; five grandchildren, Ben Kaley (Shauna), Jenny Kaley, Mackenzie, Nicholas and Liam Coughlan; one great grandchild, Hannah Kaley; as well as several special cousins. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Clarence (Bud) Coughlan; and one son, James Daryl Coughlan. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, where visitation will be held on Monday from 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Smythe Street Cathedral on Tuesday, September 19th, 2006 at 4 pm with Rev. Verner Drost officiating. Interment will be held in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Bridges of Canada.
