CURRAN, DOREEN The death of Doreen Gertrude (Gallagher) Curran of Minto, NB passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital, September 25th, 2006. Born November 27th, 1913, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Monahan) Gallagher. Doreen is survived by sons, William (Franscoise) of Quebec, Jerome (Grace Ann) of Minto, Thomas (Joyce) of Quispamsis and Kevin (Linda) of Halifax; daughter-in-law, Corinne Curran of Minto, NB; a sister, Carolyn Nichols of Minto; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Chester Edward; son, Paul Vaughn; infant daughter, Sharon Monica; several brothers and sisters. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490, with visiting Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father P. Stephen officiating.
