FLOYD ELLISON JOHNSON
JOHNSON, FLOYD ELLISON Floyd E. Johnson of Canterbury passed away October 10, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Floyd was born in Canterbury in 1929, a son of the late Carl and Myrtle (Grant) Johnson. He was employed for over forty years as a supervisor for Georgia Pacific woods operations in New Brunswick and part of Maine. Floyd was a member of the Woodstock Masonic Lodge. He was an outdoors person who enjoyed spending time at First Eel River Lake and attending local live music performances. He is survived by his wife, Lona G. (Graham) Johnson; a daughter, Val Healy (Mike), French Village; a son, Steven Johnson, Edson, Alberta; a grandson, Mike Johnson, Woodstock; two granddaughters, Sarah Healy, Fredericton and Lisa Healy (Nick), Boston, MA; three great grandchildren, Christie, Kassidy and Mike Jr. Johnson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Floyd was predeceased by his step-mother, Pearl Johnson and a brother, Herbert Johnson. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roger Urquhart officiating. Interment will be in Canterbury Cemetery.
