MCFADGEN, FRANK JAMES The passing of Frank James McFadgen, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on October 19, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 13, 1935 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Eldon and Beatrice (Parker) McFadzen. Frank was employed by Atlantic Wholesalers Cash & Carry. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, traveling and was a proud member of AA. Frank is survived by his companion, Muriel Wilkins; four sons, Tommy (Eileen) of Alta, Terry (Myrtle) of Fredericton, Tim (Debbie) of Fredericton and Tony of Fredericton; several grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Frances), Edward (Joanne); three sisters, Doris Ward, Betty (Chris) James, Debbie (Richard) Dunphy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald (Sonny) McFadzen, Phillip Barton and one sister, Helen Mae Paul. Although there will be no visitation, a Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 4 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
