Berglind, Edythe Mae Edythe passed away on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth Cecil (1983). Beloved mother of Susan LaFontaine of Vancouver, BC, cherished grandmother of Cary Oberg (Leanne), Soren Oberg (Caroline), Kirk Oberg (Melanie Cheang). She will be missed by her great-grandchildren Ashley, Dylan, Walker, Tait, Cole and Tanner, fondly remembered by her sister Marge Melnuk (Joe deceased). Edie was a long time member of Minto United Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was an active member of the Legion Br. 59 and was involved with A.C.T. of Moose Jaw. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Parkview Funeral Home, 474 Hochelaga St. W. Moose Jaw at 4:30 p.m. An interment service will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Moose Jaw on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
