MOFFITT, JAMES WILLOUGHBY James W. Moffitt of Harvey passed away on November 13, 2006 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1924 at Harvey, he was a son of the late John W. And Ella M. (Manzer) Moffitt. He was a farmer all his life and operated the family farm on Frog Lake Road. James was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. James is survived by four sisters, Isabelle Burrell and Vesta Levesque (Nelson) both of Millinocket, ME, Harriet Garrett, Andersonville, NB and Edith Lowery (Basil), Fredericton; four brothers, Robert Moffitt (Joan), Hamilton, ON, Earl Moffitt (Helen), Stanley Moffitt (Margaret) and Alvin 'Banty' Moffitt (Jean), all of Harvey; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ray Moffitt. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will take place in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
