
MABEL AMELIA ROSBOROUGH
ROSBOROUGH, MABEL AMELIA The passing of Mabel Amelia (Willis) (Seymour) Rosborough, wife of the late Kenneth Rosborough, occurred on Sunday November 19, 2006 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. Born in Nashwaaksis, NB, she was a daughter of the late Miah and Bessie (Sharpe) Willis. Mabel was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the Nashwaaksis Baptist Church and was affiliated with the Bear Island Baptist Church. Mabel was a member of the Unity # 656 L.O.B.A Nashwaakis, past president of the Guild and was an Honorary member of the Most Worshipful Lodge of Canada. Mabel is survived by three sons, Adrian (Pat) Seymour, Warren (Jeanette) Seymour and Robin (Louise) Seymour all of Fredericton, NB; one daughter, Donna Barr (Daryl) of Fredericton, NB; two daughter-in-laws, Betty Seymour of Shad Bay, NS and June Seymour of Fredericton, NB; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mabel was predeceased by her first husband, Eldon Seymour; two sons, Harold and Wendell Seymour; one daughter, Pearl Buggie; granddaughter, Francis Donovan; grandson, Eldon Seymour; three brothers, Walter, Murray and Barry Willis; three sisters, Nellie Ross, Bessie Billings and Helen Pond. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Members of the L.O.B.A, Nashwaaksis are asked to assemble at York Funeral Home on Monday at 7 pm for a Tribute Service. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
