
PAUL RUSSELL HARE
HARE, PAUL RUSSELL The death of Paul R. Hare of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Veteran's Health Unit on Sunday, November 19th, 2006. Born in Sillikers, NB he was the son of the late William C. and Adavilla (Matchett) Hare and husband of the late Madeline (George) Hare. Paul was a WWII Veteran and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, fundraising for the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, attending his prayer group at St. Dunstan's and cooking. He also kept busy in his later years running his apartment building and writing poetry that he was trying to publish. Surviving are his sons, Paul A. Hare of Fredericton, NB and Ross Nicols of India; daughter, Jamella Christie (Ralph) of Harvey Station, NB; sister, Yvonne Tozer (Lindsay) of Sunny Corner, NB as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife and son, Michael A. M. Hare. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006 from 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 will hold a tribute service at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Thursday, November 23rd, 2006 at 2 pm. Rev. J. J. Dolan as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hermitage Cemetery.
