(nee Taylor) September 5, 1926 - June 20, 2008. Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Violet Purchase in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her husband Andrew, January 22, 2007; parents: Hayward and Ethel Taylor; sisters: Eileen Kingsley, Doris Breedlove; brothers: Leonard and Hayward; In-laws: Boyce Sharpe, Bill Parsons, Hayward Randell and Jimmy Breedlove, Lulu & James Thorne, Allister & Blanche Purchase, Nelson & Ida Purchase, Gladys & Gus Bartlett, Ivy & Ed Crewe. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her three sons: Tony (Sheila), Halifax, Randy (Mary), St. John's and Larry, Toronto; grandchildren: Jannah, Anthony (and their mother Nancy), Dylan and Lauren; sisters: Minnie Sharpe, Jean Parsons , Valda Randell and Irene Taylor; brothers: Ron Taylor and Frank (Violet Francis) Taylor, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street. Reverend Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
