DUFFY, MARGARET ELIZABETH The passing of Margaret Elizabeth (Snodgrass) Duffy, wife of the late John Duffy, occurred on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Young's Cove, NB, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Ellie (Phillips) Snodgrass. Margaret was a homemaker for Red Cross and also worked as a volunteer at York Manor Nursing Home. She was an active member of the Nashwaaksis United Church and the U.C.W. and also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Connie Ebbett of Fredericton, NB; two sons, Ashley (Margaret) Duffy of Uxbridge, ON and Calvin (Marie) Duffy of Young's Cove, NB; 7 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by one son-in-law, John Ebbett. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 1:30 pm from the Nashwaaksis United Church with Rev. George Feenstra officiating and Rev. Gil MacKenzie assisting. Private family interment will take place in Young's Cove United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Nashwaaksis United Church or to the Young's Cove United Church Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
