CANNEY, JOHN WILSON The death of John Wilson Canney occurred on Tuesday, December 05, 2006 at his residence. Born in Fredericton on October 13, 1953, he was the son of Leo and Edrid (Johnson) Canney. John was an Electrician by Trade at the A.V. Nackawic Chemical Plant. John is survived by his wife, Ginette Desylva; two sons, John-Daniel (Angela) grandchildren, Marissa, Donnette and Johnny and son Ted; his grandmother, Margaret Johnson of Plaster Rock; three sisters, Janet (John) Harding, Jill (Dave) Benn and Marilee; three brothers, Robin, Mike of NWT and Lee of Nova Scotia; stepmother, Frances Canney and several nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visitation a Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.
