HEMPHILL, BURNIS ISABEL The death of Burnis Isabel Hemphill occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, December 11, 2006 at the age of 89. Born in Woodstock she was a daughter of the late George and Gladys (Stockford) London and wife of the late Ashley R. Hemphill. She was a life member of the Eastern Star, sat and cared for elderly people in their homes and at the old Victoria Public Hospital. Surviving are two daughters Vicki Wilson (Trent) of Alberta; Valerie DeMerchant of Fredericton; five grandchildren Jason and Jessica Rosborough, Heaven Wilson, Tyler and Kalsey DeMerchant; one brother Stuart London of Woodstock; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Georgie; brothers James, Raymond and Gordon London; sisters Marion Bell and Leota London. Resting at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. with visiting on Wednesday December 13, 2006 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Bishops Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday December 14,2006 at 11:00AM with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will be held at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
