Edna Ellis (nee Day) September 21, 1922 - August 24, 2008. It is with deep sadness that we announce that Edna Ellis passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Beverly Nursing Home in Calgary, AB. Edna will be deeply missed by many, including her son Jim, and daughter, Dianne Ellis, of Calgary, numerous friends and family. Mom was well liked and will always be remembered as being a lady, for her kindness, sweetness, having a good sense of humor and being close to her family. Edna was born in Moose Jaw, the youngest of seven children. Moose Jaw, always felt like home to her, even after living in Calgary for forty years and her ashes will be buried in the Day family plot in Moose Jaw.
