PETERSON, HUGH JAMES The passing of Hugh James Peterson, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley. Born in Marysville, NB, he was a son of the late Clarence and Norah (Higgins) Peterson. Before retirement, he was a Custodian at the Victoria General Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Hugh is survived by one brother, Vince Peterson (Luella) of Fredericton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Nellie Abernethy and Grace Hicks; six brothers, Byard, Andrew, Donald, Emerson, Jerome and Howard Peterson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday from 2 to 6 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11 am with Rev. Allan Lawson officiating. Interment will be held in the Upper Baptist Cemetery, Marysville at a later date.
