HUDSON, JOYCE ELIZABETH Joyce E. Hudson of McAdam passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2007 at McAdam. She was the wife of the late Stephen B. Hudson and a daughter of the late Robert J. and Helen G. (Nason) Christie. Joyce was born in McAdam in 1936. She was a devoted member of the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, a board member of the McAdam Seniors Complex, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and active in many other community projects. She is survived by two sons, Dale Hudson (Carla) and their sons, Timothy and Patrick, Harvey Station and Chris Hudson, Rusagonis and his daughters, Courtney and Jordon, Winnipeg, Manitoba; a daughter, Cindy Christie (Jeff) and their son, Andrew, Harvey Station; two sisters, Arlene Johnston (Mervyn), McAdam and Katherine Sullivan (Gerald), McAdam; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband in April of 2006 and a brother, Dean Christie. Funeral service will be held from the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, 30 Rockland Drive, McAdam on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Scott Kohler officiating. Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery. Visiting hours were held at the church on Sunday. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Timothy and Patrick Hudson and nephews Myles Johnston, Cory Johnston, Terry Sullivan and Troy Sullivan.
