GUY MAURICE (MR. MAGOO) BURNETT
BURNETT, GUY MAURICE (MR. MAGOO) The death of Guy occurred on January 7th, 2007 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family. Born in Fredericton in 1947, he is predeceased by Don & Annie (McKay) Burnett; two sisters Bonnie, Ethelyn (Kelly); and a brother, Frank. He has one surviving sister, Donna (MacKinney) of Fredericton. Guy's love is sadly missed by his wife Donna (Gallant); and two daughters, Tammy Burnett of Fredericton and Lisa and Jason McDougall; and three grandsons, Archie Johnathan, Brady Maurice, and Ethan Jack of P.A Saskatchewan; and many nieces and nephews. Guy's love was his big trucks and being on the road doing what he loved most. He enjoyed the last years of his life hauling equipment for D.A Campbell Amusements of Brantford Ontario. He enjoyed every moment with his family and grandkids and always had smart remarks even in his final days. He always made people laugh and cry, that's what he did best. Arrangements are under the care of Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd, with visitation on Tuesday, January 9th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A private Funeral service for the immediate family will be held the next day with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Allan Olmstead, Guy & Eugene Gallant of Fredericton, NB, Danny & Don Campbell of Brantford, Ontario & Phil McCafferty of Toronto Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
