HAINES, HARRY YERXA Harry Yerxa Haines, husband of the late Helen Jean Haines, of St. Ann's Court, Fredericton, NB passed away surrounded by his family on January 7, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Dorn Ridge, NB on March 4, 1916, he was the son of the late Chesley and Laura (Flewelling) Haines. Harry is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Bob) Brewer of Burtt's Corner, NB and Audrey Haines (Russell Smith) of Sundre Albert; two grand children, Robert (Margo) Brewer and Heidi (Patrick) Thibeau; six great-grand children, Whitney Brewer, Victoria Brewer, Timothy Thibeau, Gregory Thibeau, Joshua Thibeau and Andrew Thibeau; one sister Ruby Merrill of South Paris, Maine; four sister-in-laws, Greta Cummings, Marion Vincent, Shirley Carnahan and Dorothy Combes; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by three sisters, Alberta Dunphy, Winnifred Thurber, Della Haines; and three brothers, Ralph Haines, Eldon Haines, and Fred Haines. Visitation will take place on Tuesday January 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 10 at 2pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev Geoff Conley officiating. Interment will take place at Dorm Ridge Cemetery NB. In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Scholarship Fund at the Fredericton Church of Christ, Dorn Ridge Cemetery Fund or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
